Hello!

Possibly, or in cooperation with the various open source agents here
in Finland, like coss.fi. We could try to involve LO dev Tor Lillqvist
of Collabora in the event.

He would definitely be an obvious choice.

What is the format of a LibreOffice
hackfest?

about two days, a bit less or more if necessary, in a place with good connectivity, alcohol and food. :-) The hackfest is profoundly technical in its topics, although we did have a great UX Hackfest for designers in Brussels at the beginning of this month.

TDF theoretically pays for the devs/members who would have to travel from another country (unless we're like 15), and of course there ought to be t-shirts, mugs, goodies, etc. The keypoint here is: no formality.

Best,

Charles.

Otto,

As I was browsing your (nice) blog it came to me that perhaps you may be
interested in organizing a LibreOffice hackfest for the end of 2014 in
Finland?

Best,

Charles.
